One beer is $4.
Super laid back, great price, & cheap.

i went to a restaurant for lunch with my wife last friday and noticed that a beer(bub or what ever ) is 5.90 a beer.
I basically stopped going out in bars about the same time smoking was being banned in bars here in quebec, around 2006 ish. when a normal beer was 3.25 or 3.50
but only time it cost me that much for a beer was for a big glass of stella.
Back in the late 90s we had dollar beer nights,
I remember that big ass beers 625ml were 4.90 each at a certain bar that I went to in 1995

Good-looking cloudy beer. Hefeweizen? Saison?
![]() 03/01/2018 at 17:04 |

Yeah, but the downside is you have to go to Collingwood...

Out in Knoxville, I could get a pitcher of domestic for $5 and a pitcher of craft for $6.50 before 9. Was an absolute steal.

Has a Hefeweizen color and head to me. Saison are a bit more amber and hold the head more I’ve seen.

I go there every day for work. Lots of restaurants, close to Blue Mountain, great water front, if only it did not cost so damn much to live in.

A basic wheat lager. Nothing fancy, but not boring.

I haven’t had a drink there but picked some up a couple of times - it is a pretty cool place.

Inside it’s nice, but the location is nothing special.

Well yeah, it’s industrial but I don’t care too much about the location. It’s just one of my go-to beers and if I’m in the area I’ll try to stop by and grab some because I prefer it fresh from the brewery vs the LCBO.

The inside decor fits the industrial look well, it also cheaper brewery direct too.

that looks like a neat place and the dark lager sounds interesting - (still can’t believe you guys are paying only $4 Canadian - beer is such a super bargain up there.)

Their dark lager is also great. Normally beer is much expensive then the USA. It’s only $4 at the brewery.

Interesting - so retail at the store is pricier? My experience has been limited to some breweries and tap houses in Vancouver and Victoria out this way, (Vancouver has some great beer.) $4 for an imperial pint I’d be paying between $6 and $8 US down here - basically half price.
